Dynes Garage Door Experts

This is a family-run business, and it shows in small ways. The person who answers the phone knows the technicians by name and can tell you who is coming. The van carries the common springs, rollers, hinges and opener parts, so most repairs finish on the first visit. We keep notes on every door we have serviced, which means the second call is easier than the first. Our customers are neighbours, and we would like them to stay customers for the life of the house. That is a long relationship to build, and it is built the same way every time: show up, explain clearly, do the work well, and clean up.

Shop rules

A door you barely notice.

  1. Explained on the spot. As each part is checked, the technician tells you what it shows and what it means for the door as a whole.
  2. Tidiness as standard. Old springs, cables and packaging leave with us, and the workspace is swept. A clean finish is part of every visit.
  3. Options at your pace. Hear the choices, ask your questions, take the time you need. The work starts when you say so and not before.
  4. Open 24/7, same fees any hour. Set up a visit

On every job

  1. Rule of the job1 of 3

    Getting the details

We ask about the door's age, the type of springs, the opener and what changed. A photo of the hardware helps us bring the right stock.

  2. Rule of the job2 of 3

    Testing the balance

With the opener disconnected we raise the door by hand. It should lift with light effort and stay put at waist height; if not, we know where to look.

  3. Rule of the job3 of 3

    Completing the repair

Parts are replaced, settings adjusted and the safety sensors tested. You get a summary of what was done and what to keep an eye on.

How a visit goes

Every door we touch leaves with its safety features working. That means photo-eyes aligned and clean, the auto-reverse force set correctly, the emergency release working and the door balanced so it can be lifted by hand.
